I'm Tim, currently doing Dad things, work things, and other things. For fun: solving problems, photography, and balancing providing vs. spoiling. Nuance is a theme, I think.

For work, I've spent twenty years in healthcare IT. I'm a Lead Technical Consultant at DAS Health, focused on infrastructure, security, and business continuity for medical practices and healthcare organizations. The full history is on the Work page.

After hours I build small native Mac apps in Swift, each one written to fix something on my own machine. They're on the Code page and on GitHub. I also photograph Central New York, and I've traced the VanBenschoten family back eighteen generations.
